Step into the outrageous, twisted world of Bouffon, where absurdity reigns and the grotesque becomes hilarious. This workshop blends the rich roots of Bouffon—from medieval folklore to modern-day satirical jesters who poke at politicians, self-righteous zealots, celebrities, gurus, or even theatre itself. Participants explore odd-shaped, decrepit, and exaggerated bodies —creatures with lumps, goblins, deranged gnomes— to bring characters to life. Through group games and ensemble experiments, performers will be physical, present and bypass overthinking and pre-planning, discovering the liberating power of the body in pleasure...
